Sand Hollow reservoir was dedicated in 2003 and opened to the public. The reservoir will be the largest in the state park system when completely filled. The reservoir is open to PWC and boats every day with no rotations. Sand Hollow features picnic areas and two launch ramps. The area has interesting rock formations and views of the mountains reminiscent of a small Powell. There are plenty of sandy beaches to enjoy as well.
